Chocolate Blondies or Brownies

150g softened butter

175g warmed golden syrup

2 tblspns water

2 eggs

200g SR flour

100g sugar ( brown is best for a brownie )

200g of melted chocolate ( white or dark )

Chic chips or chopped nuts are optional


1Heat oven to 180C

2Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well

3Pour into a greased 9" square tin

4Bake for 30-40 mins

5Cool in tin

6Serve warm with ice cream or eat as is
