Garlic Mushrooms

This is great on toast or as a side

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 15 mins
  • Yields: 4 servings


Punnet of mushrooms chopped

2-3 gloves of garlic minced

Splash of oil

Knob of butter

Salt and pepper

1-2 tspns dijon mustard

Creme fraiche


1Heat the oil and butter

2Add in the mushrooms and don't be tempted to move them around the pan for a couple minutes

3Stir the mushrooms

4Add in the garlic and salt and pepper

5Cook for another 3-4 minutes

6Add in about 6 tblspns creme fraiche and the mustard

7Leave to cook for a couple of minutes and serve

Add chopped parsley if liked and try different mushrooms
