Pan cooked penne and sausages

8 sausages

1 onion finely chopped

2 cloves minced garlic

Tin of chopped tomatoes

1.5 cups milk

1 cup of chicken or vegetable stock

2 large handfuls of grated cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper

A little oil


1Heat the oil in a large frying pan

2Add the sausages and onions and fry gently until coloured. Slice the sausages .

3Add the garlic and fry for about a minute

4Stir in the pasta , tomatoes and stock and milk

5Put on the lid and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is cooked

6Stir through the cheese and season

7Let it thicken for about 5 minutes and serve with salad
