Parsley Sauce

1 tblspn butter

1 tblspn plain flour

1/2 pt milk

2 tblspns chopped fresh parsley ( or 1 tblspn dried )?

Salt and pepper

Sprinkle malt vinegar ( optional )


1Melt the butter in a saucepan over a med/low heat

2Stir in the flour and cook for about 3-4 minutes

3Gradually stir in the milk

4Keep stirring until sauce thickens

5Season with salt and pepper

6Stir through the parsley and serve

7A sprinkle of malt vinegar somehow heightens the taste
