Pork Stroganoff

Season this to your taste


400g pork fillet sliced

1 medium onion sliced

400g mushrooms quartered

4 tspns paprika

300ml soured cream

A good dash of lemon juice

Black pepper

1 tbsp not chopped parsley

2 tbsns Olive oil

A good knob of butter

Tagliatelle, rice or mash to serve


1Put the oil in a hot frying pan

2Add the meat and 1/2 the paprika

3Stir fry to seal the meat for about 3-4 minutes , keep the meat moving

4Remove meat from the pan and put on a plate

5Add the butter to the pan and fry the onion until soft

6Add the mushrooms and remaining paprika and cook for another couple of minutes

7Add the pork back to the mixture and stir

8Now add the soured cream , a good dash of lemon juice and the parsley

9Let everything warm through ( 3-5 mins ) and serve
