Stir Fried Broccoli and Peppers

1 tblspn vegetable or sunflower oil

1 tblspn grated ginger ( I used lazy ginger that I chopped even finer )

1 red pepper chopped how you like

1 head of broccoli cut into florets , or tender stem broccoli

1 bunch of chopped spring onions

6 tblspns hoisin sauce

1/4 cup of water

1-2 tblspns sesame seeds


1Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan

2Add the ginger and fry for about 30 seconds

3Now add the broccoli , peppers and spring onions

4Cook for about 5 minutes, keep moving the veg around

5Add the hoisin sauce and water and keep moving the veg for another 3-5 minutes

6Sprinkle with the sesame seeds

7Serve with rice or noodles topped with more sesame seeds if liked
