Dump Bag slow cooker beef and veg stew

Easy to prep and cook but delicious to eat. If you want to make fresh just pop the ingredients straight in the slow cooker.

 500 g diced beef
 2 tbsp oil
 300 ml water
 2 oxo cubes
 300 g red potatoes, cubed
 3 medium carrots, cut into chunks
 1 small swede, cubed
 2 parsnips, cubed
 ½ tsp rosemary
 ¼ tsp thyme
 ½ tsp salt
 ¼ tsp pepper

label a large (gallon) sized freezer bag with name, date and instructions - in this case 'add 300ml's of water'

Add all the ingredients to the bag except the water. Give it a good squish about to mix everything

Flatten and squeeze out as much air as you can and seal the bag

freeze until needed

Defrost overnight

Dump the contents of the bag into the slow cooker and pour over the water

cook on low for 8-10 hours
