Halogen oven baked Apple crumble.

A family favourite for pudding or just served with a cuppa

 2 kg Bramley apples
 2 tbsp Dried mixed fruit
 80 g Plain flour
 80 g Porridge oats
 100 g Salted butter
 100 g Demerera Sugar
 2 tbsp Lemon juice

Freeze your butter to grate into your flour
Put your flour and butter in a bowl and rub till it resembles breadcrumbs

Add in your Oats and Sugar and mix well

Core,peel and chop your apples

Place the apples in an ovenproof bowl,sprinkle over your lemon juice,mixed fruit and cinnamon

Top with the oats and flour mixture making sure to leave it rough if you want a crunchy topping

Cover with foil and place in your Halogen

Bake at 200°for 30 mns,remove the foil and continue baking for a further 20-25mns till your topping is golden brown

Allow to cool slightly then serve with cream,ice cream or custard
