1

Prepare your Buttermilk-Simply mix the milk and lemon juice together.

2

Mix your spices together in a bowl -Turmeric,Paprika,Garlic,Chilli,Salt

3

Butterfly the chicken-Cut through the middle of the breasts to make 2 thinner pieces.Place in a dish and sprinkle half the spices over your chicken, making sure they're fully coated on all sides.

4

Pour the buttermilk over the chicken, stir, cover and put in the fridge for 2hrs to marinate.

5

Sieve your flour, add to a bowl and mix in the remaining spices

6

Create an assembly line for coating your chicken -marinade-flour-dish-so it's not too messy

11

Drain on kitchen roll or a wire rack whilst you cook the remaining chicken

12

Drizzle over the honey and serve with salad and a sweet chilli dip or mayo

13

This works well with drumsticks or chicken thighs too.
Great in wraps, chopped and mixed through a salad or pasta.

14

You can buy buttermilk- I had none but its easy to make your own- Simply mix milk and lemon juice together. Use the ratio 1 cup-480ml milk to 1 tablespoon lemon juice.Allow the mixture to rest and curdle. It only takes a few minutes. Then stir and use!
