Cabbage with bacon

Ingredients

1/2-1 cabbage

A few chopped bacon rashers or lardons

Salt and pepper

A little olive oil

A good splash of water

Directions

1Shred your cabbage finely

2Heat a little olive oil in a hot pan

3Add in the bacon and fry until cooked to your liking

4Add in the cabbage

5Stir fry for about 5 minutes

6Add a little water to create steam

7Season and serve

8You could add some sliced onions to this or a little freshly grated nutmeg . This can be frozen . Like your cabbage cooked a little more ? Then blanch it for 3 minutes first
