Pink Custard

  • Yields: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 pint milk

1 pkt pink blancmange

2-3tblspns sugar

Directions

1Pour the blancmange powder into a basin

2Add the sugar

3Add 2-3 tblspns milk from the pint . Mix to form a thick paste

4Gently heat the rest of the milk in a pan DONT let it boil !

5Pour a little warm milk into the paste - stir well

6Pour it into the pan with the rest of the milk

7Stir continuously and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes

8If it's too thick add a little more milk to let it down

The white custard is made with vanilla blancmange Shelley Williams ( you can buy a pack of blancmange with 4 flavours (strawberry, Raspberry, Chocolate, Vanilla) Pearce Duff do one, I know sainsburys sell it 🙂
