These go great with breakfast lunch or dinner


1 medium potato per person

Salt and pepper

A little oil for frying


1Peel your potatoes

2Grate them into a clean tea towel

3Bring the edges of the teatowel together and squeeze to remove excess water

4Think it's all out ? Nope squeeze again

5Season the grated potato with salt and pepper

6Heat a little oil in a wide frying pan

7Put a pile of potato into the oil , shape it into a rough circle or use a ring

8Add more potato and fry until crispy on both sides
