 500 g plain flour
 1 tsp salt
 ½ tsp dried yeast
 400 ml warm water
 oil
 200 g mozzarella
 50 g butter
 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
 1 tbsp oregano
1

Make your dough by combining the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. In a separate smaller bowl, add the yeast to warm water and leave for approx 5 minutes until it starts to slightly bubble.

2

Add the water and yeast mix gradually to your flour, 2 tsp at a time and kneading continuously until your dough is dry and shiny. Oil a separate bowl and oil your hands. Rub the oil from your hands around the dough before placing into the oiled bowl. Cover and leave in a warm space for 2-4 hours until risen.

3

Once your dough has risen, roll out onto a lightly floured surface. Pull away small sections of the dough and press flat into your hand. Place a thumb sized amount of Mozzarella into the centre of the dough and roll into a ball. Once you have filled and rolled the remaining dough, place in a Christmas tree shape on to a baking tray lined with baking powder.

4

Melt your butter in a small pan and add your garlic. Once melted, coat your tree with the butter mix. Finish by sprinkling oregano before baking in the oven at 200 degree for 20-25 minutes.
