Penny2017-09-17T20:23:06+00:00 Total Recipe Views: 6,969 Hobnob type biscuits By Penny Home Baking English September 17, 2017 Cover the top in melted chocolate for a luxurious treat Prep: 10 mins Cook: 15 mins Yields: 18-24 biscuits Ingredients 225g SR Flour 225g Oats 225g Butter 85g Sugar 2-3 tblspns golden syrup 0.5 tspn baicarbonate of soda 1 tblspn boiling water Chocolate - if using Directions 1Heat oven to 180c 2Mix the flour , oats and sugar in a large bowl 3Over a low heat melt the butter and golden syrup together 4When the syrup and butter has melted together mix the bicarbonate with the boiling water - mind it will fizz! 5Mix these with the dry ingredients and thoroughly combine 6Using a cookie cutter as a guide put spoonfuls of the mix into a lined baking tray - don't make them too thick 7Bake for about 15 minutes 8Cool on tray for 5 minutes then finish cooking on a rack 9Dip in chocolate that you've melted in a bowl over a simmering pan of water close full screen 00:00 7 Reviews SARAH BIRCH September 26, 2017 Just made these, I cooked them for 10 mins and perfect, taste much better than shop bought ones.
